Former Kaizer cheifs star insults Kaizer cheifs coach
Junior Khanye calls Kaizer Chiefs coach a ‘Skelm’
Former Kaizer Chiefs star Junior Khanye believes Nasreddine Nabi is to blame for the club’s poor performance this season.
Despite a promising start to his tenure with the Chiefs, Nabi has struggled to achieve positive results. In their last five league matches, the Glamour Boys have managed to win only once. After the 1-1 draw with TS Galaxy, Khanye commented that Nabi has been concealing his incompetence.
Khanye not convinced by Chiefs coach Nabi
“Nabi..I’ll be honest, he is a skelm,” Khanye said on iDiski TV.
“We have to look at how he won games, Sirino was on top of his game. Not everyone noticed how this team won games, it was either the opposition making mistakes at the back or Sirino’s brilliance.
“Against Sundowns, they were poor and yes they were outclassed. That’s where he was supposed to be questioned.”
Khanye believes that the country has several young coaches who can take over from Nabi and take Kaizer Chiefs in the right direction.
“Many young unknown coaches can do better than him, there are many. He is under pressure because they signed him to help the club at least win one trophy, He is under pressure now hence he is attacking the referee, and he can’t control his emotions. Unfortunately, this guy is taking the club in the wrong direction,” said the former Amakhosi winger.
Kaizer Chiefs are looking to bring in new players in January however Khanye is not convinced Nabi is the right man for the job. Amakhosi have not won a single trophy in nearly 10 years and only have the Nedbank Cup to fight for.
Will Nabi survive this season?
