Just In: West Brom receives Offer from La Liga Giants
West Brom striker emerges on radar of La Liga side
West Brom striker Josh Maja has emerged on the radar of Celta Vigo, according to a report by Super Deporte.
West Brom could face some interested in their attacker in the upcoming January transfer window. He is under contract at The Hawthorns until June 2026 so they are under no pressure to sell him this winter unless an offer they can’t refuse came in.

Maja, 25, has scored nine goals in 15 games in all competitions for the Baggies so far this season. He found the net in their 2-1 away win at Hull City at the MKM Stadium last time out before the international break.
According to Super Deporte, he has emerged on the radar of Celta Vigo as they weigh up potential forward targets. They are currently sat in 11th place in the La Liga table and have 17 points on the board from their first 13 fixtures of this campaign.
West Brom ace wanted
It would be a big blow to West Brom if Maja was lured away in a couple of months time.
The Baggies are currently positioned in 5th place inside the play-offs and are in the top six along with Leeds United, Burnley and Watford.

They are eyeing promotion to the Premier League and selling their top scorer could potentially derail their chances.
Maja joined West Brom in 2023 and scored only once last term due to injury issues.
He has had a new lease of life so far in this campaign though and has managed to find his shooting boots.
The Londoner started out in the academies at Crystal Palace, Fulham and Manchester City.
Sunderland lured him to the North East as a teenager and he broke into their first-team before going on to fire 17 goals in 49 matches.
That earned him a switch to Bordeaux and he found the net on 29 occasions in 93 outings during his time in France, as well as returning to England on loan with spells at Fulham and Stoke City.
What now?
Maja has found a home at West Brom and has been given a chance to impress by Corberan.
They need to keep hold of him until next summer at least as they look to go up.
The chance to move to the Spanish top flight with Celta Vigo would be a good opportunity for him though but it remains to be seen whether they will lodge an offer.
