Good News: He is coming back former player declares

Sandro Tonali will step out onto the San Siro pitch once again when Italy host France in the Nations League on Sunday evening, which has prompted further calls for him to leave Newcastle United and return to Milan.

More calls for Tonali to return to Milan

This will be the second time that Tonali has played at his old ‘home’ since joining Newcastle. The first came in the Champions League when the Magpies visited Milan in the Champions League in an eventual 0-0 draw at the beginning of last season.

According to pre-match reports, he is expected to receive a warm welcome from the San Siro crowd when Italy take to the field against France.

The 24-year-old has never hidden his fondness for the Rossoneri, and the supporters tend to blame the club rather than the player himself over the decision to accept Newcastle’s bid last summer.

There have been calls at various points this season for Tonali to come back to Milan, however, reports from Corriere dello Sport explain that the reality of buying Tonali back from Newcastle would be an extremely complicated manoeuvre for financial reasons.

The Italy international is still under contract at St. James’s Park until the summer of 2028.

Fiorentina ready to buy impressive Adli from Milan

Fiorentina are so impressed with the performances of midfielder Yacine Adli that they have already decided to buy him outright from Milan.

According to Calciomercato.com, the decision has been made and the Rossoneri informed that the deal will be completed before the end of the season.

The former Girondins de Bordeaux player made the move to Fiorentina on loan at a cost of €1.5m in the summer.

He has become a regular in coach Raffaele Palladino’s midfield and contributed two goals plus three assists in 13 games between Serie A and the Europa Conference League.

This has already proved enough to convince the Tuscans that he is worth buying up for the agreed €10.5m clause at the end of the current campaign.

Milan had bought Adli from Bordeaux for €8.75m in 2021, though he made only 39 appearances for the San Siro side.

He still managed to score one goal and provide two assists in the Rossoneri jersey.
