I don’t want to lose my contract, Milan man tenders apology and promises to improve

‘Playing for everything’ – Fonseca has 21 days to save Milan job

AC Milan’s start to the season saw fans lose confidence, and a report has now claimed that there are 21 days left to save the season. If they fail to do so, there could be some big consequences.

Things at Milan are seemingly following a similar trend to last season – the head coach is not delivering, and results are slowly nosediving. For this reason, the Rossoneri must be cautious with their next steps.

In an editorial for Milan News, Antonio Vitiello has stated that the club are aware of their situation, and there are three weeks to save things. During this period, there are seven games to be played, and they could be the difference between competing for the Scudetto and sinking into anonymity.

Away from Italy, the next three weeks could see the Diavolo all but eliminated from the Champions League if they are unable to conjure up the results needed to progress. So for this reason, both domestically and in Europe, we must see ‘the real Milan’.

Vitiello also offers some words on Fonseca’s situation, stating that his task is not easy, and it would be the same for any coach. However, he is ‘playing for everything’. Should results not go in his favour, a reaction must be made.

Ultimately, Fonseca and Milan have 21 days to save themselves. Failing to do so will create problems.

Zlatan’s intervention and ‘no more mistakes’ – Milan must see change

The last of the international fixtures are set to be played in the next day or two, and this means AC Milan are getting closer to returning to action. However, there will not be a period of easing in, it must be a strong return.

Things at Milan have been up and down for the past 14 months. Ever since the start of last season, there has been some sort of rumbling, and it must stop if the Rossoneri are to make their credentials known in the Scudetto race.

Paulo Fonseca, for the second time this season, is facing concerns about his position – which is damaging in itself – and when the squad take to the field against Udinese, there has to be confidence in the squad, and this must then translate to results.

For this reason, Tuttosport (via Milan News) have reported that the Diavolo are ‘varying the hard line’, and a change of direction is required. Because of the poor start, there can no longer be mistakes, and for this reason, everyone is facing the pressure.

The group must be more together, and once again be united, and to help with ths, Zlatan Ibrahimovic will deliver a face-to-face meeting with the group, playing the ‘Maldini’ role.
