EXCLUSIVE: Tottenham player making the headlines again amidst rumored summer exit

Tottenham Hotspur have just seen one of their players change agency after a summer filled with speculation over his future.

Ange Postecoglou‘s side have already experienced some difficulties in the early stages of the 2024/25 campaign.

Over the weekend, Tottenham recorded their first loss of the season with the Lilywhites having taken four points from a possible nine.

This comes on the back of a summer transfer window where there may well be a feeling that more could have been done to strengthen Postecoglou’s options.

There has been some bad luck to come with the start to the season in north London with Dominic Solanke and Richarlison already out through injury.

And following a summer of speculation there has now been an interesting development away from the pitch involving one of the Spurs attackers.

Richarlison has just signed for a new agency

Over the course of the summer, there was a lot of speculation as to whether Richarlison would still be a Tottenham player at this point.

It has turned out that the Saudi interest in Richarlison would never materialise with the Brazilian remaining put.

This even resulted in Richarlison publicly stating he did not want to leave Tottenham over the summer.

On Tuesday, a post on Instagram showed Richarlison to have just signed with a new agency following the summer speculation.

However, it is with a company who Tottenham fans will be all too familiar with in CAA Base who hold an incredibly good relationship with the club.

A number of Tottenham players are on the books at CAA Base with the likes of Heung-min Son, James Maddison and even Postecoglou signed to them.

Given the rumours circulating around the summer, it is perhaps a telling sign of Richarlison’s desire to stay by signing for Base.

Richarlison needs a big season at Tottenham

After a season filled with injuries, Richarlison needs to prove what he can actually do this season at Tottenham.

The Brazilian enjoyed an impressive spell where he netted nine goals in 10 Premier League games last season.

However, injuries prevented him from showing whether that was just a purple patch or whether it was his real form.

But it is fair to say this season has not gotten off to the best start having picked up an injury setback after just 25 minutes of action against Everton.
