F**k off: Pundits blast Sheffield Wednesday players for poor performance vs Millwall

Sheffield Wednesday lost 3-0 vs Millwall in the Championship on Saturday.
Sheffield Wednesday returned to Championship action following a subdued deadline day, with Danny Rohl taking his team down to London to face Millwall.
The last time the Owls played at The Den, Anthony Musaba inspired a 2-0 win as part of Wednesday’s great escape.
But Wednesday went into this game on the back of successive defeats in the Championship, against Sunderland and then Leeds United at Hillsborough last weekend.
And the Owls capitulated once again, conceding the first of three goals on the 58-minute mark, and eventually losing 3-0.
Danny Rohl fields new-look Sheffield Wednesday XI vs Millwall
When the teams were released at 2pm, Sheffield Wednesday fans were excited by what was a sort of new-look Owls XI.
Rohl brought in Ike Ugbo for his first Championship start since re-signing from Troyes, with Jamal Lowe in the no.10 position.
Josh Windass dropped to the bench along with Svante Ingelsson, with the latter making way for Shea Charles who impressed on his debut.
But that no.10 position which is usually donned by Windass, but was donned by Lowe against Millwall, is proving to be a bit of a problem position for Rohl.
Danny Rohl facing further Sheffield Wednesday conundrums
Rohl has two favoured formations; 4-2-3-1 which is what he played against Millwall, and 5-2-2-1.
Of course Rohl can’t keep chopping and changing, no matter the opposition, but with the lack of a no.10 who can create opportunities and provide that bridge between midfield and attack, this 4-2-3-1 formation just isn’t working right now.
Since the opening day win vs Plymouth Argyle, Sheffield Wednesday have been poor, and it seems as though teams have quickly figured out Rohl’s Plan A.
His Plan B may well be that 5-2-2-1 formation, and we could see some more of that in the coming weeks, though that could mean leaving a lot of attacking talent on the bench.
The solution could be trying someone new in the no.10 role Olaf Kobacki perhaps, or even Ugbo with Windass back to his usual no.9 position.
It’s a bit late for Rohl to trial and error different set ups, but something needs to improve soon.
