Tough Decision: Tottenham finally takes that bold step

Tottenham have a number of top talents at the moment, with Mikey Moore and Will Lankshear arguably the standout names.
The pair shone under Ange Postecoglou in pre-season, although there is another very promising prospect who Spurs are about to let go, with the deal surprising one foreign media outlet.
So, what have Tottenham now agreed to? Let’s take a look…
Cordovan media left surprised as Tottenham and Cordoba agree Jude Soonsup-Bell deal
A story from El Dia de Cordoba now shares further details about the agreement which will see Tottenham prodigy Jude Soonsup-Bell move to Cordoba.
The 20-year-old is close to joining the Spanish side on a permanent deal after shining in the youth ranks at Spurs.
El Dia de Cordoba explain how the move comes as a surprise among locals, as the Segunda Division outfit have primarily been focused on signing Spanish talent this summer, so they have actually opted to shift their transfer policy to sign the England U19 international.
It was the Mirror’s Dan Marsh who first revealed that Soonsup-Bell is leaving Tottenham for Cordoba, sharing the information on X (previously known as Twitter).
The Chippenham-born striker has scored 14 goals in 34 appearances for the Tottenham U21 side, while also providing eight assists.
Spurs hopefully agreed a buyback clause or significant sell-on clause
It is a shame to see Soonsup-Bell, who Fabio Paratici rated highly, leave Tottenham, although the 20-year-old’s pathway to first-team football was not exactly clear, with Dominic Solanke, Richarlison, Heung-min Son and others ahead of him.
However, there is no doubt that he is a precocious talent who could soon become very valuable, so in that respect, we hope Spurs negotiated either a buyback clause, or a huge sell-on clause should Cordoba end up receiving millions for the attacker in future.
If not, we feel it would be a real oversight from Johan Lange – Director of Football at Tottenham.
Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as Cordoba could soon announce Soonsup-Bell.
