A Turkish star has been spotted in London as talks over a move to the Premier League for the forward intensifies.
Turkey could well be a popular area for scouts of Premier League clubs to be over the next couple of months, purely because of the sheer amount of talent on display in the country.
Arda Guler is the big name who has come out of Turkey in recent months with the Real Madrid attacking midfielder scoring a stunning goal for his country at Euro 2024.
However, it is another Turkish forward who has attracted attention and that is Baris Alper Yilmaz.

Alper Yilmaz spotted in London amid Arsenal and Liverpool interest
HITC reported last month that Arsenal and Liverpool are interested in Baris Alper Yilmaz following the forward’s performances at Euro 2024, with a departure from Galatasaray.
Turkey were one of the surprise packages of the tournament as Vincenzo Montella’s Turkey reached the quarter-final of the tournament that was held in Turkey.
This interest from Arsenal and Liverpool also comes off the back of previous interest from Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Bournemouth and Brighton.
Yilmaz made quite the impact at Galatasaray last season as the Turkish giants smashed the 100-point barrier and won the Super Lig title.
In all competitions, Yilmaz scored seven goals while providing a further 12 assists at club level. Turkish outlet Aksam state that Galatasaray value the forward at £22 million
Yilmaz has posted on his Instagram page that he is indeed in London, which could suggest that one of Arsenal and Tottenham could have the opportunity to hold talks with him.
Yilmaz tipped to be good enough for Arsenal or Liverpool
Sources have told HITC that Yilmaz’s agent are in talks with multiple clubs over a potential move.
Whilst a move to one of the top teams in the Premier League may well be a big step up for the 22-year-old but former Galatasaray assistant manager Selcuk Inan believes Yilmaz is good enough for Arsenal or Liverpool.
“Baris Alper Yilmaz, I think, can play very easily in many teams in the Premier League right now,” Inan said. “He is a very special player. We worked hard with him.”
