ATHENS — Three previous Georgia Bulldogs — one student-athlete and two coaches —highlight the Lesson of 2023 that will be accepted into the State of Georgia Sports Lobby of Notoriety Saturday, Feb. 25, at the City Theater in Macon.
Bulldog All-America tennis standout Al Parker, previous football coach Stamp Richt and previous baseball coach Steve Webber are among those being accepted on Saturday.
Some time recently his Bulldog career, Parker had set up himself as one of the foremost finished junior tennis players in history with a record 25 titles. He won the Fantastic Pummel of junior tennis, the as it were player to win all national titles in singles and copies in a single year. Whereas at Georgia from 1988-91, he claimed a match of national singles crowns, as well as 10 other singles and pairs titles.
