Fulham have declined Al-Hilal’s £25.5 million deal for Aleksandar Mitrovic and have informed Sky Sports News that the striker is not for sale.
According to sources close to the player, Mitrovic intends to quit the Premier League for the Saudi Pro League.The Serbian international scored 14 league goals last season, helping Fulham finish in the top half of the table.
Mitrovic’s goals also contributed significantly to the west London club’s promotion from the Championship on two occasions.
The striker joined Fulham on loan in February 2018, then signed permanently for about £25 million later that year.
Al Hilal has been one of the busiest Saudi Arabian teams in the summer season, having previously signed Wolves captain Ruben Neves.
