The team is reportedly willing to make a move for their seasoned wide receiver.That might be the case because Johnson wishes to leave Pittsburgh before his contract’s final year. What the Steelers might receive in return then becomes the question.

Though it seems a little low, there have been speculations that a third-round pick could be the best deal for the 27-year-old wide receiver. Not only has Johnson not had a season with 1,000 yards after signing his agreement, but he has also not had a consistent quarterback.

While still making improvements, Kenny Pickett maintains a very low standard of output. Although Mason Rudolph only filled in for four games, he looked well throughout that time.Then Mitch Trubisky came along.

Compared to those who have watched Johnson in Pittsburgh, teams who are willing to trade for him likely see greater potential.
