A critical review on the West Ham Team at SC Freiburg

Fortunately for West Ham United, their roster is almost totally fit. But the one wound they do have is rather severe. Maxwel Cornet, a forward, will be sidelined for the duration of this month due to a hamstring/thigh injury.

Manager David Moyes stated that Cornet would be out for “a few weeks,” despite some sources suggesting he would return by St. Patrick’s Day.

Fun Fact: If West Ham wins this game, it will be the first time they have won four straight games. They have won their last three Europa League matches.

The Scotsman stated on March 1st, “Unfortunately, it appears that Maxwel will be sidelined for several weeks due to a minor hamstring strain that he sustained [on] the Saturday or Sunday prior to the [Brentford] game.”

He will thus be absent for the Thursday night UEFA Europa League match as well as for some time after that. Maxwel Cornet might very well be out until after the March international break, at the very least.
