Paul Merson predicts the home team to win this afternoon because he feels that Crystal Palace just lacks the firepower necessary to trouble Tottenham Hotspur without several of their main attackers.
Spurs can’t afford to lose to Wolves in their most recent home game, and they need to win three games against the Eagles to maintain pressure on Aston Villa for the final assured Champions League position.
Prior to the match, Ange Postecoglou said that Pedro Porro is still out and that Richarlison has also been added to the list of injured players for Tottenham. However, he did imply that Destiny Udogie would return for the match.

Merson predicts Palace to win easily in order to put additional pressure on Villa before they play Luton Town later in the day since he feels that Palace’s injuries are far more serious than Tottenham’s.
“This is a nice game for Tottenham as Palace have a new manager in Oliver Glasner and are set to be without Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise, who they’ve really struggled without this season,” the former Arsenal midfielder told Sportskeeda.

Predicting this game is difficult because Palace, under Glasner, is still somewhat of a mystery. That being said, we are aware of the Austrian’s preference for playing three at the back and the general tactical discipline of his sides. Thus, Tottenham might not always have their way.
