Done deal: West Ham United has just signed an outstanding player

Super-agent’s verbal commitment to play for West Ham comes as negotiations move closer to an intriguing paid loan deal.

According to sources that have updated TEAMtalk, West Ham United is pressing to finalize a deal to capture former Celtic winger Jota from Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad.

Jota has been a target for several Premier League sides, according to TEAMtalk’s ongoing reports, and a move during this window is conceivable. Now that West Ham is pressing to finalize a deal, this is almost certain to happen.

The 24-year-old has given the Hammers the go-ahead, and they are trying to reach a compromise with the Saudi side.

Jota is a player that is free to quit the team because he has had difficulty adjusting to Saudi Arabia and has only appeared in five games.

Ange Postecoglou and his former player were not going to be reunited after the club made it clear they were not pursuing a trade this month, despite the fact that he had been in talks with Tottenham early in the transfer window.

This led to numerous reports that he will probably be loaned out in the SPL and join a Saudi Arabian team, but sources consistently told TEAMtalk that this was improbable.

The Portuguese playmaker has always been interested at West Ham, thus he declined two approaches from Saudi clubs.

The foundation for a move was established weeks before, and official moves were made last week.

Super-agent alerts West Ham about the Jota agreement

After Nordsjaelland rejected their £19 million proposal for Ibrahim Osman, the Hammers withdrew from the contest and focused solely on Jota, obtaining his verbal consent and the terms of a deal from agent Jorge Mendes.

Positive conversations are currently taking place between the parties as they attempt to finalize a deal within the next 48 hours.

Negotiations are centered around Al-Ittihad’s demand for a substantial loan charge. Certain sites also claim that there will be a purchase option.

Although Jota’s £26 million transfer from Celtic to Al-Ittihad smashed the record for a Scottish transfer, the gifted wide player has not been delighted with the move.
