“Conversations are ongoing”, “in the next few days” – Fabrizio Romano shares exciting Spurs transfer update

Tottenham is putting a lot of effort into acquiring wonder child Antonio Nusa from Club Brugge.

The North London club has been keeping a close eye on the boy for some time and is making efforts to get first dibs on signing him.

Nusa is reportedly being sought by Brugge for a sum of £25 million, along with a loan agreement that would let the Norway international to remain with the Belgian team until the end of the current campaign.

The most recent report from Fabrizio Romano states that “talks are ongoing” regarding the player between the two clubs and that a new contact is anticipated in the next few days.

Romano makes it clear that Nusa would rather remain with Brugge for the remainder of the season rather than depart midway through.

Speaking about it on his most recent YouTube video, he says that Tottenham is eager to sign him this window and loan him back to Brugge for the rest of the campaign, but they also want to close the deal as soon as possible to prevent it from becoming a race.

He declared:

“Talks are still going on between Club Brugge and Tottenham. I’ve heard that in the next days, there will be a new contact.

“Tottenham wants to allow the player to come in the summer by signing him now. Nusa is unwilling to leave Brugge at this time.

Other clubs are competing as well. Since it’s not finalized, Tottenham wants to move quickly.

Spurs have recently made several extremely wise acquisitions. Over the past few years, players like James Maddison, Vicario, Micky van de Ven, Brennan Johnson, and Udogie have all shown to be great additions. They will also be adding another incredible talent if they are able to sign Nusa.
