Nottingham official statement over players contract termination….More players contract to be terminated

Jonjo Shelvey’s contract was apparently terminated by Nottingham Forest, despite their earlier claim that they had allowed the midfield player to depart on loan.

“Jonjo Shelvey has completed a season-long loan move to Turkish Super Lig side Caykur Rizespor,” the club stated in a September post.

However, the Guardian has revealed that Shelvey’s removal was a permanent one and that the post was removed by the club last month.

Shelvey’s unclear departure from the club may raise concerns for the team because even the Premier League’s official website lists Shelvey as a loan transfer.Additionally, Forest’s website lists other players who have been loaned out but omits Shelvey from their first-team lineup.

According to rumors, the club had him scheduled to sign a loan agreement before realizing that doing so would have allowed them to have more players out on loan than they could have.

FIFA regulations, which limit the number of players a club can loan out at any given time to seven, were implemented to discourage teams from hoarding players and to promote the development of young players.

Recalling that they would have gone over the maximum number of players they could have loaned out, it is reported that they chose to void Shelvey’s contract.

Nottingham Forest has been contacted by Mail Sport for a statement.

In the meanwhile, should it be discovered that the team violated the Premier League’s sustainability and profitability guidelines, they might lose points.

If charges are to be made against Forest, that information will be disclosed later this month.

“The club has fully complied with its reporting obligations with regard to the Premier League’s revised profit and sustainability rules,” the club stated in a statement.

There will always be difficulties associated with promotion to the Premier League; one such instance is how promotion incentives are handled. As required by Premier League regulations, the club tackles each of these obstacles with a clear focus on ensuring its long-term financial viability.

Shelvey joined Forest last month after leaving Newcastle, although he only made eight appearances for the team.

The 31-year-old has made 13 appearances for Caykur Rizespor, who are currently eighth in the Super Lig. His lone goal for the team came from the halfway line during a 1-0 victory over Istanbulspor, making it a memorable one.
