Ange to unleash teenage ‘Secret weapon’ against Burnley.
Tottenham youngster Dane Scarlett has been spotted in first-team training ahead of Spurs’ FA Cup clash against Burnley.
Scarlett’s loan with Championship flyers Ipswich Town was terminated last week due to a lack of playing time, and the teenage attacker is back at the north London side.
Scarlett, the England youth international, has returned to Tottenham, where he may now be considered for a starting role, having played just 189 minutes overall for the Tractor Boys.
The 19-year-old has been spotted back at Hotspur Way practicing with the first team, according to Lilywhite Rose on Twitter. Tottenham’s next FA Cup match is against Burnley.
Scarlett, who Jose Mourinho called a “incredible” prospect, has a good chance of playing for Tottenham in the cup this next weekend.
The teenage forward is already well-liked by Ange Postecoglou, and if Scarlett is healthy enough to play again this week, the Australian coach may be willing to give him some minutes. Scarlett plays for Tottenham.
