Fabrizio Romano has said that Tottenham will soon announce Pape Matar Sarr’s new long-term contract with the club.

This season, Ange Postecoglou has trusted the 21-year-old Senegal international to produce excellent results, and the midfielder has been one of Tottenham’s standout performers.

Under the Australian boss, Sarr has made 16 Premier League starts, assisting on two goals and scoring two himself. And now the child’s efforts are being acknowledged.

Furthermore, Tottenham pulled off a brilliant move by locking down the young player to a six-year contract, which will keep Sarr in north London during his early career development.

Tottenham’s long-term goals are evident to all, and if Sarr can keep up his progress, he has the potential to be a vital member of the north London team, especially with Udogie on a similar contract.

Rodrigo Bentancur’s early return from an ankle injury has ‘shocked’ people at Tottenham Hotspur.

As Tottenham defeated Bournemouth 3-1 on Sunday, Bentancur made his way back into the starting lineup.

The 26-year-old sustained ankle ligament damage after taking a hard hit from Matty Cash back in November, and it was once anticipated that he would be out until February.

The journalist stated, “He trained with the first team for the entire last week. I’ve talked to a lot of people at the club, and to be honest, people are shocked.”

They were caught off guard as well. Nobody was anticipating his return any time soon; they were probably waiting a month or so.

The timing of Bentancur’s comeback couldn’t be more ideal for Spurs as Postecoglou tries to steer his team through a challenging stretch.

Tottenham had triumphed in four of their last five league games, despite Postecoglou’s team suffering greatly from injuries and bans.
