Tottenham leading the race for €200m Winger amidst interest for top EPL rivals

Aston Villa and Brighton are also in the race to sign Tottenham Hotspur target Samuel Iling-Junior from Juventus in the approaching January transfer window.

The winger, whose contract with the Turin team expires in about 18 months, has played sporadically for Juventus.

Several Premier League clubs are interested in signing the former Chelsea academy star, therefore Juventus is prepared to sell him during the winter transfer window.

Iling-Junior is supposedly the top target for Tottenham, but Newcastle is also thought to be interested in signing him.

Aston Villa and Brighton, two additional Premier League teams, are reportedly vying for Juventus’ winger, according to the Italian website TuttoJuve.

Roberto De Zerbi and Unai Emery both want to bolster his teams during the January transfer window.

Iling-Junior has shown to be a good option if you’re looking to sign a young, skilled athlete for a fair price.

Juventus is open to hearing bids for the player and will probably ask for about €20 million when the transfer window opens next month.

Which other teams, outside Tottenham, will actually make a bid for Iling-Junior in the upcoming days and weeks is still to be seen.

Former Leeds United forward Michael Bridges has claimed that Pedro Porro has emerged as Tottenham’s standout performer over the last few weeks, crediting Ange Postecoglou for getting the best out of the Spaniard.

On the other side of the ball, Porro has shown his class in the inverted right-back position, while Destiny Udogie has garnered a lot of attention due to his outstanding start to his Tottenham career.

As he becomes more comfortable in his new role, the 24-year-old keeps getting better, showcasing his technical skill.

The former Sporting Lisbon player has already contributed six assists this season, but his impact at the other end of the field has surprised supporters. The right-back is showing himself to be a reliable one-vs-one defender.

Is Pedro Porro the best player at Tottenham right now?

Bridges acknowledged being quite impressed with Porro’s performances and implied that Porro’s metamorphosis was another proof of Postecoglou’s superb man-management abilities.

“When I look at how Spurs are playing at this moment in time, the standout performer for me, and you can talk about other players and things that are going on,” the former midfielder for Sunderland said in an interview with Optus Sport Football Podcast.

“Under Ange Postecoglou, he has improved his game tremendously; his stats are through the roof. He has been absolutely outstanding.” You can see the players enjoy working with Postecoglou when you have a player with pedigree and Ange works with them and gives them a new lease on life.

This season, Porro has been the most impressive right-back the Premier League has to offer. With every game he plays in his new position, the Spain international seems to have no vulnerabilities in his style of play.

It appears like Spurs have the best full-back duo in England once more, for the first time since the Walker-Rose tandem.
