£40m player ‘keen’ to join Tottenham Hotspur, he likes Ange Postecoglou’s playing style

Jean-Clair Todibo is keen on a move to Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window.

Todibo wants to move to Tottenham, and TEAMtalk has highlighted his reasons for doing so.

According to TEAMtalk, Tottenham Hotspur is considering acquiring Nice’s Jean-Clair Todibo during the January transfer window.

As per the report, Tottenham is looking to finalize a deal for Todibo as soon as possible and will turn their attention to other defensive targets if they receive no support.

It has been claimed that Manchester United is interested in the acquisition of the 23-year-old former Barcelona center defender.Additionally connected is Newcastle United.

As a result of the higher pay and “uplift in status” that come with moving to a Premier League team, Todibo himself “is keen on the move,” according to TEAMtalk.

The center-back for France is reportedly “also believed to be keen on the fact Ange Postecoglou has such an obvious way of trying to achieve success and sources say the understanding of a team ethic and a club vision is going to be key to him choosing his next club,” according to the report.

Todibo, a defender who has been called “the complete package,” is available for a price of £40 million, according to TEAMtalk. However, the North London team wants to close a deal quickly and avoid having the negotiations drag on.

Nice might not let Tottenham Hotspur acquire Jean-Clair Todibo in January.

If Jean-Clair Todibo leaves Nice for Tottenham Hotspur during the January transfer window, I will be shocked.

The defender will likely not be available to Spurs in the middle of the season, in my opinion. When it comes to bringing him to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, I think Tottenham will have to wait until the end of the season.

Naturally, each player has a value, and Nice can afford to spend £40 million. Todibo, though, is a key player for them as they attempt to win the Ligue 1 championship this season.

14 Ligue 1 appearances for Nice this season have been made by the 23-year-old. In those contests, the defender has contributed one assist.

In the current Ligue 1 standings, Nice is only five points off of leaders Paris Saint-Germain. If Les Aiglons sell Todibo for £40 million in January, I don’t think that will hurt their prospects of winning the championship.
