I AM WORKING ON SOMETHING; FABRIZIO ROMANO DROPS HINT ABOUT TOTTENHAM CENTRE BACK PURSUIT

Fabrizio Romano claims that he is ‘working on something’ in terms of information around Tottenham Hotspur’s centre back search.

Tottenham Hotspur is now one point out of the top four and is vying for Champions League involvement.

Although Ange Postecoglou has performed admirably, Tottenham still has to make adjustments in order to develop their team under the Australian.

Spurs should give top priority to acquiring a center back in order to provide additional competition for Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero.

Numerous names have already been connected to Tottenham, and Fabricio Romano is currently working on a single project.

Fabrizio Romano hints at the pursuit of a Tottenham center back

Tuesday night, while Romano was on Kick Streaming, someone asked him about any updates about Tottenham’s January transfer plans.

In response, Romano said he was “working on something” to publish and would “say something tomorrow” (Wednesday).

According to the transfer insider, a center back is Tottenham’s top priority and the team will “for sure” make a signing in January.

Radu Dragusin, a defender for Genoa, is reportedly Tottenham’s top target, but Romano vowed to provide an update on the team’s pursuit of a center back today.

Romano declared, “I’ll talk about Tottenham tomorrow.” “I am working on something about Tottenham, but I will make an announcement tomorrow. Generally speaking, Tottenham will take definite action in January. Having a center back is still essential.

“As we previously stated, Tottenham is closely monitoring Radu Dragusin, the gifted center defender who plays for Genoa. Newcastle and Tottenham have dispatched representatives to follow him on several occasions. I’ll give you more about Tottenham’s pursuit of a center back in January tomorrow,” he continued.

Dragusin is having a fantastic season for Genoa in Serie A, and Tottenham and Newcastle seem to be vying for his services.

Although the Romanian has a lot of potential and is only 21 years old, we believe Tottenham should still consider domestic players.

Trevoh Chalobah and Tosin Adarabioyo are still being connected, and Lloyd Kelly of Bournemouth is a left-footed option who may be the perfect cover for Van van Ven.

Since Adarabioyo and Kelly’s contracts expire in the summer, Tottenham may decide to make cheap transfers with them.

Both possess the speed and athleticism that any Postecoglou back line would want.

Chalobah will probably be available in January, but his ongoing injury issues will be a worry.

Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo is becoming more and more of a top target as negotiations on a £35 million transfer continue.

One of the best defenders in Ligue 1, the former Barcelona center back is reportedly nearing a deal to Tottenham.

Tottenham is searching far and wide for a new defender, so perhaps Romano is a new name in the mix.

Romero and Van de Ven will probably remain Tottenham’s first-choice backfield duo, so they won’t want to spend a lot of money on a defender, but it’s obvious that having another option is a top priority.
