Tottenham Manchester City midfielder Jack Grealish has now shared his verdict on Tottenham Hotspur under Ange Postecoglou this season.

The England midfielder spoke to Sky Sports yesterday following City’s late 2-1 win at Luton Town.

And as Grealish justified City’s recent form, he also praised Tottenham’s progress this season.

He said: “I think a lot of people like to talk about City and act like it’s a big crisis, when in reality we played against some very good teams.” “We played against Spurs and they were incredible. Liverpool, who are top of the table.

“And then we played away against Chelsea and Aston Villa, who have one of the best home records in all of Europe, so we played against brilliant teams.“We lost one and drew three, so it’s not the end of the world, but people sometimes like to pretend it is.”

Of course, it must be even sweeter for Tottenham to receive this compliment, knowing that they are not yet at their best.Although more bodies were recovered against Newcastle United yesterday, key players are still missing.

Manchester City’s Jack Grealish praises Tottenham after yesterday’s winPep Guardiola’s side have been through a difficult period of late and while Grealish will undermine that, the team will surely be disappointed.

Even though Tottenham have missed players like James Maddison and Micky van de Ven, City simply cannot cope with the absence of Rodri in midfield.

The Spaniard was absent in the defeat at Aston Villa, then returned in yesterday’s win.

Of course, Kalivin Phillips plays almost no role in these games, a player who will surely move in January.Spurs have been linked in the past and this move still seems incredibly smart.
