With great pleasure, we announce that, pending international clearance and a working visa, we have agreed to sign experienced Chinese international Shuang Wang.

The 28-year-old will start working with us on January 1, 2024, after her contract with Racing Louisville expires.

Her contract with us expires in 2026, and she will represent our women’s first team by wearing number 77.

Shuang, who was born in Wuhan, began her career as a representative of Wuhan Jianghan University and has since made multiple trips back there while earning numerous significant honors.

She joined South Korean team Daejeon Sportstoto in 2013, and during her first season there, she assisted them in making it to the Korean Women’s FA Cup Final.

being named Most Valuable Player in the process, before winning back-to-back Chinese Women’s Super League titles with Dalian Quanjian in 2016 and 2017.

Shuang won two more Chinese Women’s Super League titles at Wuhan Jianghan University in 2020 and 2021 after spending one season in France with Paris Saint-Germain in 2018–19. In August 2022, Shuang moved to the United States to play for Racing Louisville in the National Women’s Soccer League.

Since 2013, when she joined China as a senior international, Shuang has grown to become a vital member of the national team. She went on to win well over 100 caps, captained the team, competed in three World Cups (scoring against England in the current competition), and together with new Club teammate Linyan Zhang, won the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Women’s Asian Cup in 2022.

Having also represented her country at the Olympics and Asian Games, she was named AFC Women’s Footballer of the Year in 2018 and is a four-time Chinese Women’s Footballer of the Year.
