Tottenham could submit ‘offer that would be difficult to say no to’ for 28-year-old target

Tottenham Hotspur continues to be linked with a move for the Roma midfielder Bryan Cristante.

Tottenham is reportedly interested in the midfield player and would be willing to invest €30 million for him next summer, according to a report from Il Messaggero via Tuttomercatoweb.

The €30 million “offer would be difficult to say no to,” the story continues.

Despite Roma’s low resources, Cristante has established himself as a vital member of the team. They would undoubtedly find the rumored €30 million deal to be an alluring offer, but it is unclear how things would turn out.

Tottenham’s midfield has to be strengthened in terms of quality and depth, and Cristante will provide the team greater toughness and defensive protection.

The North London club has been connected to the Danish international Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who might be replaced by Cristante in the summer. Whether all parties can reach a consensus in the upcoming months is still up in the air.

Since Cristante is currently at the height of his abilities, he will find it appealing to go to the Premier League. He’ll want to put himself through the paces and establish his mettle in English football.

He undoubtedly have the talent to succeed in the Premier League, and for the stated price, he may prove to be a worthwhile addition.

With his arrival, the Spurs would also be able to rotate important players like Pape Matar Sarr and Yves Bissouma.

Tottenham transfer stance made clear as Barcelona eye January deal

Spurs’ position toward Giovani Lo Celso makes sense as Barcelona looks to replace Gavi.

Although Spurs are dealing with serious ailments of their own, the Catalan giants are considering a January loan move for the Argentine.

Any January transfer bid from Barcelona for Giovani Lo Celso will be turned down by Tottenham.

Following the catastrophic knee injury that sidelined midfielder Gavi, Barcelona has set their sights on Lo Celso for a loan.

However, Spurs have ruled out a January departure for Lo Celso, who will probably play a bigger role going forward given James Maddison’s ankle injury, which will keep him out until at least January.

The Argentina international started the Carabao Cup match against Fulham, although he has only made three substitute appearances in the Premier League this season.

The 27-year-old Lo Celso is a target for Real Betis and Atletico Madrid, and Barcelona was interested in bringing him in for the summer. Xavi, the manager of Barcelona, is a big fan of the player.

Gavi hurt his cruciate knee ligament while playing for Spain on Sunday, and the Catalan team is thinking about their January transfer alternatives.

Spurs themselves have been hit by a spate of injuries, while they will also lose midfielders Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr to the Africa Cup of Nations in January.

Lo Celso has struggled to fully establish himself at Spurs since his £55million move from Real Betis in 2019, but is set to play a key role in the squad in the coming months.

Bissouma and Cristian Romero are suspended for Sunday’s home game against Aston Villa, while Micky van de Ven is also sidelined until next year. Left-back Destiny Udogie withdrew from the Italy squad with a muscle injury.
