‘Goodbye’ – talkSPORT broadcaster shares Moyes sack verdict in West Ham v Forest
Tom Rennie told West Ham to sack David Moyes within days midway through the game against Nottingham Forest on Sunday (12 November).
On Sunday, the talkSPORT presenter tweeted that the Hammers manager is “done” with the football that is being played at the London Stadium and that it is a “nice time to say goodbye.”
With an international break approaching and “no chance” of relegation this season, he thinks it’s the perfect time to part ways with the Scotsman. An early opportunity to begin preparations for the upcoming campaign is also present.
Frustrating
The West Ham team is far superior to what they are currently putting on display, which makes the football on show extremely frustrating.
Several players seem to be being held back by Moyes and forced to play a style of football that isn’t natural to them.
It is up to him to figure out a way to make his team more possession-based and visually appealing this season, as that is what the Scotsman wanted.
Despite having more time to train with the team during the international break, the Irons’ management will prefer to see improved results from the team.
The Hammers manager has been in this position before and he will no doubt back himself to turn things around, but things need to start improving quickly.
