Report: Jack Grealish heard chanting £15m Tottenham player’s name after England game this week
After this week’s England game, Jack Grealish was overheard screaming the name of a £15 million Tottenham player.
Following England’s qualification for the Euros this week, Manchester City player Jack Grealish was reportedly heard screaming the name of Tottenham Hotspur full-back Destiny Udogie.
According to The Sun, after Tuesday’s victory over Italy, a number of England players went to a bar to celebrate, when both James Maddison and Jack Grealish ‘raising a glass’ to Udogie.
On Tuesday night, Udogie made his first start for Italy. Despite losing 3-1, he put on a strong performance.
Gianfranco Zola lauded the 20-year-old player following the match, calling his performance “fantastic.”
After receiving a yellow card in the first half, Federico Dimarco was eventually brought in to replace him shortly after the hour mark.
On the other hand, Udogie made an impression in his first competitive start for the Italians after a promising beginning to life at Tottenham. Grealish of Manchester City seemed to have been impressed by the young player.

Grealish chants Udogie’s name during England celebrations
According to The Sun, Maddison and Grealish were among the England players who went out to celebrate making it to the Euros next year.
It is stated that Maddison and Grealish raised a glass to Udogie and even yelled his name throughout the celebrations.
When Grealish was playing for Aston Villa, he was on the verge of joining Tottenham, but the deal fell through.
The Englishman won a treble with City last season and went on to become the most expensive British player.
The revelation that Grealish and Maddison were chanting Udogie’s name after England’s victory is undoubtedly one of the day’s more interesting stories.
However, the child has performed admirably while wearing a Tottenham jersey this year, and Maddison would have known just how talented the £15 million youngster was. It now appears that Grealish is a supporter of the gifted Spurs full-back as well.
