‘All done’: Fabrizio Romano drops overnight claim about ‘unbelievable’ Liverpool target

Fabrizio Romano has claimed on Twitter that Liverpool transfer target Jarrod Bowen has agreed to sign a new contract at West Ham United.

The 25-year-old has long been mentioned as a potential Mohamed Salah replacement at Liverpool.

It’s more likely that these doors will knock again following the well-publicized Saudi connections in the summer, which further raises the likelihood that the Egypt star will make for the exit.

Whatever the case, Jarrod Bowen’s name has frequently appeared on Liverpool’s transfer radar. Most recently, talkSPORT reported that some on Merseyside, as well as Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United, were ‘on alert’ with his contract talks stagnating.

As of Saturday night, Fabrizio Romano said on Twitter that Jarrod Bowen’s new long-term contract with the Hammers is “all done.” This will no doubt please actor and West Ham supporter Danny Dyer. The England player who is dating his daughter was described as “unbelievable” by the man.

Liverpool will now need to find a replacement for Mohamed Salah if the worst case scenario occurs.

Jarrod Bowen’s new West Ham contract

“EXCLUSIVE: Jarrod Bowen agrees new long term deal at West Ham,” said Romano. “It’s all done, one more excellent news for the #WHUFC winger after England NT call.

“Bowen wanted to stay as key part of the project. Jarrod said yes to final proposal.”

Life after Salah for Liverpool

The supporters at Anfield would prefer it if Salah finished his career wearing their uniform.

The concern is that the 31-year-old will depart sooner rather than later considering the money that is currently in Saudi Arabia and the project they are creating.

While famous players like Sadio Mane, Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, and Roberto Firmino have departed.

Salah’s potential departure will undoubtedly anger the supporters the most because, as of right now, he might legitimately claim that he belongs in Liverpool’s greatest-ever XI.

Salah hopes to lead this Liverpool 2.0 to another adventure of winning the major trophies, but none of that has occurred as of yet.
