View: ‘Electric’ West Ham sensation fires warning to Antonio & Ings after stunning 24 hours
Callum Marshall issues a warning to Danny Ings and Michail Antonio of West Ham United following an incredible 24 hours.
West Ham United has performed admirably this year, and striker Michail Antonio has had a strong individual campaign thus far.
Danny Ings has been mostly forced to concentrate on playing in the Europa League rather than the Premier League due to his goals and hold up play, which have kept him off the starting lineup.
Young striker Divin Mubama meanwhile has impressed when given the chance in his brief time in claret and blue so far, but he may just fall behind another young star in the pecking order soon, with Callum Marshall firing a warning to his fellow strikers.
According to the West Ham website (5 October), the 18-year-old has been shortlisted for the Premier League 2 (PL2) Player of the Month award for September.
As described on the official West Ham website, the teenager’s “electric form” during the month—four goals in three PL2 games—got him nominated.
Additionally, the young player was recalled to the national team squad by Northern Ireland manager Michael O’Neill less than a day earlier, on October 4, according to the Irish Football Association’s official website. This second round of recognition for the young player came barely 24 hours after the first.

Such outstanding accomplishments could not have come at a better time for the young striker, since Antonio is expected to miss the Hammers’ forthcoming games against SC Freiburg and Newcastle United due to injury, per Sky Sports (4 October).
Marshall is undoubtedly knocking on the door for a debut, and if his incredible performances continue, first team boss David Moyes may not have a choice but to give him one after all. Marshall has scored 12 goals in nine games across all competitions this season.
In unrelated West Ham news, an Aston Villa star admitted that the Hammers were his team’s motivation for their 6-1 victory over Brighton.
