‘Going well’: Journalist says West Ham are getting closer and closer to signing £14m player
West Ham United has been very active thus far in the transfer window, and they might not be done yet.
The east London team still has work to do after adding three terrific new midfielders and a new center-half, but they may be on the verge of strengthening both their attack and the wide areas.
Numerous strikers have recently been connected to the Hammers, and the club is also rumored to be interested in Filip Kostic of Juventus.
Kostic may end up being signed by West Ham on deadline day, according to Kieran Gill, who said on The Mail’s Transfer Deadline Livestream that negotiations with Juventus on the £14 million midfielder are progressing well.
Kostic could join
Gill revealed his knowledge of Kostic.
“West Ham will undoubtedly sign a new striker because that’s what manager David Moyes wants, and they may also sign Juventus midfielder Filip Kostic because their negotiations with Juventus are progressing nicely. West Ham will be unhappy if they don’t bring in any new players, in my opinion, as Gill predicted.
Incredible crosses
West Ham have been one of the most aerially dominant teams in Europe in recnet years, and they may be about to get even stronger.
Indeed, if the Hammers sign Kostic to play in the same team as James Ward-Prowse, they will have two of the best crossers in the game, and if they can land that target-man striker they’ve been after, they may well be unplayable in that area.
This summer started slowly at West Ham, but if they keep going in the right direction, you could argue that they’ve won the transfer window.

Journalist: Leeds star set to reunite with Tyler Roberts despite West Ham interest, loan with an option
According to Fabrizio Romano’s tweet, Birmingham City has finalized the loan agreement that would keep Leeds United star Cody Drameh with them for the conclusion of the current campaign with a permanent option.
Drameh, 21, is no longer needed at Leeds after the club recruited Djed Spence on loan from Tottenham Hotspur. He has dropped down the pecking order at Leeds. He meets Joe Rodon once more in this scene.
Drameh only managed two substitute appearances, and Luke Ayling had a strong start to the campaign, thus it was obvious that Drameh needed to make a change. His contract is set to expire in 2024, which is noteworthy.
He joins Birmingham City and reunites with Tyler Roberts – after the Wales star made the move to The Midlands club on a permanent basis earlier this summer. Romano reported the news on Firday morning.
Romano: Birmingham City complete signing of Leeds ace Drameh
Wow, Birmingham City scored a victory. The Tom Brady influence is starting to take hold. With connections to many Premier League teams, Drameh has the potential to become a fixture in the future.
Recently, Phil Hay claimed that Drameh was being considered by Championship promotion opponents Southampton, West Ham, Crystal Palace, Brentford, and Brentford. He is currently on his third Championship loan at the Blues.
The fact that Drameh will be on loan with an option is intriguing, as was previously mentioned. His contract is allegedly set to expire at the end of the current campaign, but Leeds may have the option to extend.
That might take his contract to June 2025, and force a club – like Birmingham in this case – to pay for a permanent move at the end of the season. Drameh is off to Birmingham then, as deadline day kicks off.
