After the deal for Edson Alvarez is finalized, West Ham will prioritize a move for another midfielder.
The Telegraph said that West Ham manager David Moyes is eager to complete a few more acquisitions during the summer transfer window.
According to reports, the East London club is quite close to announcing a £35 million deal for Edson Alvarez.
However, if Moyes wants the Hammers to be competitive across the board this season, he will need to acquire at least three or four additional top-tier acquisitions.
Conor Gallagher, a Chelsea midfielder, has been linked with a move to the London Stadium this summer, with West Ham said to be confident of landing him.
And it seems as though bringing the 23-year-old Blues ace to East London is now a priority for the Hammers…

While Gallagher would not be a direct replacement for Declan Rice, he would be an excellent addition to Moyes’ squad at the London Stadium.
