Harry Kane  responds to Tottenham fan asking  him to stay at Spurs in a three word tweet

The star of the show today as Tottenham thrashed Shakhtar Donetsk in front of their home crowd was striker Harry Kane.

As Spurs stepped up their preseason campaign with a strong showing, the England captain slammed in four goals.

Given the quantity of rumors about him and a potential move to Bayern at the moment, Kane was already the subject of a great deal of attention.

However, Kane maintained his composure and made a quality shot in front of goal. His display was a masterclass in finishing, demonstrating what Tottenham will lose if he does leave.

For now, though, Kane is still a Tottenham player and he took to X (Twitter) after the game to share his immediate thoughts on the win over Shakhtar.

Kane did a long lap of appreciation at the end, which only seemed to fuel speculation that he might end up being on his way.

Of course, Kane is always good with the home fans and this could just have been a nice nod to their support.

Tottenham fans, then, will be hoping for some good news on Kane in the coming weeks.

This match was a good example of why Tottenham cannot afford to lose Harry Kane.

He continued to demonstrate that he is among the top forwards in the world with an excellent finishing and overall performance.

Kane would leave a big hole in this Spurs team if he were to depart. He will be nearly impossible to replace.

Tottenham must prioritize keeping Kane. As weird as that may sound, it’s simply not worth the potential £100 million they would receive.
