Tottenham in contact with London rivals for £42 million defender

Fulham have reportedly approached Tottenham to enquire about Davinson Sanchez, who has plenty of offers to leave the North Londoners this summer.

Fulham has become a candidate to recruit Davinson Sanchez, a disgruntled Tottenham star, according to 90min. Spurs put the Colombian defender out for sale, and he has received numerous proposals from foreign teams, including one from Russia.

The Colombian defender Davinson Sanchez, who cost Spurs £42 million and had a bright future, has fallen short of expectations. Tottenham is aggressively looking to move the Colombian if the proper offer is made since they no longer see him as a part of their first-team strategy.

Sanchez won’t sell for anywhere near the £42 million they paid for him many years ago. Clubs have lining up because they are aware of the bargain amount they may need to pay to sign the seasoned Colombian.

Sanchez is yet to select one of the offers from OGC Nice, Galatasaray, or Spartak Moscow. In the meantime, Fulham has contacted Tottenham about the Colombian as Silva looks to add some crucial defensive reinforcements.

Given that Sanchez is quite familiar with the Premier League, he might end up being a fantastic choice for the team. Before the season begins, Silva must make a number of crucial decisions, with defensive additions being one of his top concerns.

Tosin Adarabioyo may leave Silva for another team; Tottenham has shown some interest in the defender. One of Fulham’s most crucial players last season, the England youth international appeared in 25 games.

Fulham may allow the Colombian to continue playing in the Premier League and in London if Sanchez is readily available. In due course, the defender may make a decision, but it will also rely on the offer the Cottagers make.

Tottenham is currently in contact with a number of defenders. They have thought about spending a lot of money to acquire Edmond Tapsoba from Bayer Leverkusen and are about to finalize the deal for Micky van de Ven. The plan will center on adding two or more center backs while making it easier for undesirable players to depart the team.

Talks with Barcelona over Clement Lenglet have also cooled down. Tottenham remain keen on the Bundesliga pair. Hence, one should expect Tottenham to accelerate their actions on sales, including that of Sanchez.
