Sky sport: Spurs faces stiff competition for target attacker signature

Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol has revealed that Paris Saint-Germain have turned their attention to Eintracht Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani after failing in their pursuit of Harry Kane.

Fabrizio Romano revealed this morning that the Bayern Munich leadership are hopeful about concluding a deal for the striker even if they have not yet matched Tottenham’s valuation. This puts Bayern Munich in the driver’s seat to sign Kane.

It was reported by The Telegraph that the England captain was planning to decline the opportunity to move to Parc des Princes because he had his heart set on a move to Bayern until last week, despite the widespread belief that PSG had not given up on the Tottenham player.

PSG turn attention to Spurs target Kolo Muani

According to Solhekol, PSG is now focusing on Kolo Munai as they are ready for life without Kylian Mbappe, as he recently stated on Sky Sports’ Football Daily.

According to the writer, the Parisians have started negotiations to capture the Frankfurt star after their attempts to recruit both Kane and Rasmus Hojlund were unsuccessful.

This is bad news for Spurs because Kolo Muani has reportedly been identified as a Kane (Bild) successor by the North London club, according to certain sources in recent weeks.

Kolo Muani, 24, has never seemed like a viable target for Spurs in my opinion because he is unlikely to join a team outside of the Champions League.

Dusan Vlahovic and Jonathan David stand out as the most viable and intriguing prospects among the strikers we have recently been connected with as Kane’s replacement.
